The HONEYWELL-2605 R8182D-1079 is an outdoor, normally closed thermostatic control that senses the air temperature and changes the oil flow in the burner or other heat source as needed to maintain a constant air temperature. It is designed to replace conventional relays in various applications. It may be installed horizontally or vertically. The mounting flange allows for either vertical or horizontal mounting. The R8182 D Series shall not be used with liquid–filled burners, units with electronic or combination controls, or heaters which have factory installed heat control assemblies.
