A Rheem 120/230V 1-hp ECM motor with long-life ball bearings which are permanently lubricated and shielded from dirt by a totally enclosed fan-cooled squirrel-cage rotor. The motor is protected and cooled by an integrated thermal overload switch, which resets automatically after the motor cools down, and will automatically reset if the current increases above 110%. By continuously monitoring the temperature of the motor, it provides added protection against overloading, which could shorten the life of the motor.
