This Ruud Limit Thermostat is an original factory replacement thermostat designed to control the operation and temperature of heating systems with either one or two stage gas valve operation. The L180F Limit Upper thermostat is compatible with RUUD gas furnaces that operate a gas valve or two stage gas valve.

This thermostat is built for use with Rheem models L160, L180, L240, and L360. The thermostat features high/low temperature switch and settable upper temperature limit.

The RHEEM Limit Upper Thermostat (AP17231) allows you to raise the temperature while heating the water or holding it to a constant temperature. The limit upper thermostat is designed for Ruud air source heat pump models L180F and L200F; 19–38 ft (5.7–11.6 m).
