It is a replacement drain pan assembly for Rheem 20- and 24-GPM gas water heater models. It has a raised rim to make it easy to keep the debris and the soap away from the heating element and water inlet and outlet ports. It is suitable for all gas type hot water heaters at 2 stages of heating process.

Rheem's drain pan assembly catches water that drains from your air conditioner coil or outdoor condensing unit. It's made of corrosion-resistant galvanized steel, features a durable baked enamel finish, and comes with levelers to ensure proper drainage.
