The drain pan assembly is designed to catch excess water that remains in the heater after a hot water cycle is complete. If there is no overflow tube installed, then it is necessary to install this drain pan assembly under your water heater.

This drain pan is used on gas and electric water heaters. This assembly has a 7-3/8" outer diameter to fit inside the wall sleeve. It is made of galvanized steel and includes two straps for mounting onto the unit.
