The RHEEM 47-21663-01 -Ruud SPST N/C A/R Limit connects directly to your emergency cooling system's compressor. It is used in single stage cooling systems that have a reversing valve with an electrically operated pump and air conditioning coil.

The N/C A/R Limit switch is designed for gas and oil fired boilers. This heavy-duty switch features noncorrosive nylon (PC66) bushings and diaphragms, as well as electrical components that are rated for 210 degrees C (410 degrees F). Its continuous duty rating of 480 Vac, 50/60 Hz, 4VA per pole is ideal for either heating or cooling applications requiring a limit control.

Rheem single pole, single throw, normally closed and normally open switch limit control models are designed to uniquely restrict the instantaneous operating time of an air conditioning or heat pump unit, based on indoor or outdoor unit switch temperatures. The switches are magnetic low voltage model type for use with Rheem's low voltage system parts. The installation, maintenance, and adjustment of these models must be performed by a licensed contractor in accordance with local codes such as NCCOP.
