The York Flat Capacitor Run Single (S1-02420062700) is a 5 MFD, 440 Volt, single phase capacitor run single circuit breaker. It is used to protect electrical circuits. It provides 3 overcurrent protection functions: interrupting the current flow when it exceeds safe levels, protecting equipment from damage due to excess current and signaling that the circuit has been de-energized by limiting the flow of current when the circuit is interrupted.

The cap can be used on a single line single phase rated 5 MFD 440V circuit breaker with a flat mounting flange.

This bolt-on air capacitor has a single 5MFD 440V run winding, designed to operate on special low voltage, high amperage circuits. Choose from three different mounting types depending on your needs. The standard YC configuration mounts on the load side of the breaker, while the YA configuration is for mounting on the panelboard side of the breaker. This product has been UL/CSA certified. It is suitable for use on gas-fired generators and other energy equipment that includes gas-fired burners or burners of similar characteristics.

Single run capacitors are used to provide load with power from a generator or UPS.
