The York® Air Proving Switch is designed for applications that require the determination of air proving positions in either 4 or 6 pole switches. A rotary switch assembly is provided to allow each pole to be actuated separately by means of an auxiliary operator contact, also preventing special burn-in labor costs. Operator contacts and auxiliary contacts are specifically designed to operate on rated load and short circuit currents. For applications requiring actuation of all poles at one time, a separate contact closure can be provided for each pole without affecting the rated position. This is accomplished with a steel link bar that is adjustable from one end.

The T500 Fuse is a 5 amp, 250 volt thermal element air proving switch used to measure the integrity of compressed air systems. It is operated by either a normally open or normally closed ac or dc command signal. It must be installed in a 250 volt ac circuit protected by an overcurrent protective device marked and rated to operate at 125% of the current rating of the switch.
