York's S1-CAP24748F (CAP, RLA, 45MFD, 240V) PTC Heater Assembly is designed for use with 460 Volt, 208/230 Volt, or 240 Volt electrical systems. This product has a voltage range of 240V to 400V and it comes with an insulated type S thermopile assembly. Additionally, it has an operating temperature range of 32F to 176F and its rated current is 45 mfd. The York Model S1-CAP Fixed Capacitor run capacitor is designed for use in applications requiring longer life than the DRY capacitor. The unit may be used for running and lighting circuits equipped with small motors. It is also used in general lighting and motor starting applications.

A flat-profile, single-stage capacitor with a high dielectric strength that can be mounted in a variety of positions.

A secondary and/or replacement type capacitor, designed to meet the replacement needs of many applications. It will also replace certain original equipment types in sizes 1-1/2 and larger. Due to its small size, this may be used as a main capacitor in 450V and 600V motors by retrofitting an auxiliary terminal block.
