The GROEN F12196 Safety Valve is a P-traps, used for the discharge of water line/intake line pressure and protection against hydrostatic shock. This product provide three functions: selection of a fixed flow, automatic isolation and automatic closure in case of pressure higher than 1 bar created in the water system. The valve automatically reseals due to buoyancy if the downstream pressure reaches more than one bar.

It exposes water easily on the pathway in order to avoid any blockage of the pressure side. It also provides protection against unwanted drainage through the valve when it experiences unexpected abrupt stoppage of process water in an open line.
