Thick door kit: 1-3/4 to 2-1/4 inch thick doors

This Schlage door kit allows a 3/4 inch thick 5 1/4 inch x 6 3/8 inch door to be fitted into the recess on the exterior of a 47 series or 78 series deadbolt lock. This door kit includes the wood faceplate, door assembly and mounting screws. It is only compatible with Schlage B489106 Deadbolt Lock.

This easy-to-install Schlage door conversion kit converts your existing 1.875 inches thick B6X deadbolt into a 2.25 inch thick deadbolt to properly secure a standard thick door. The keyed cylinder will be outside of the exterior edge, which allows for minimal intrusion and no exposed springs. The hardware kit includes all necessary parts and instructions to convert your existing deadbolt in about 15 minutes.

Add an additional 18 in thick door to your Schlage Residential Collection Be489 Series Dead bolt for a more lasting installation. Meets ANSI Grade 1 and UL Grade 2 standards.
