The TE-6316M-1 duct sensor is a 10 inch cable with a patented, mushroom shaped sensor on the end. This sensor connects directly to a mini controller, or it can be connected to a 7 inch or a 4 inch mini controller, or directly to an HO7002 digital controller with a converter kit (not included). The sensor drops down into the duct and senses when the air in the duct reaches the desired temperature. The unit can connect to an alarm or be used within a detecting system. It has a 4-20 mA DC output and comes with a mounting bracket for easy installation.

The TE-6316M duct sensor replaces the TE-6300 and features three integrated technologies: a PTC ceramic heater, a thermistor and a specialized wetting agent. The PTC ceramic heater is designed to bridge the gap between sensing and heating. It takes approximately five minutes to bring the sensor up to operating temperature, and provides ice protection for up to 25 seconds.
