The Globe U00577 thermal cutout is designed to prevent overheating, motor burn-out and premature failure. This thermal cutoff switch regulated at 185°F (85°C) detects when the pump has overheated due to a bad impeller or power supply overload, and then safely shuts off power to the unit.

The Globe - Part# U00577 is a replacement thermostat, this part should be used as a replacement for the old CIRCUIT BOARD if you are having trouble turning the heater on and off. This part should not be used on models other than Globe

The Thermal Cutouts are designed for use with our Globe (U00528) and Eclipse (U00427) Heaters. Features include four inch cutout, two inch threaded fitting and large filter area to ensure long lasting performance.
