The Honeywell two-pipe direct acting thermostat is designed to be used with a pneumatic actuator to control a wide range of temperatures in residential and commercial heating, ventilating and air conditioning (HVAC) applications. The thermostat has the ability to operate between 32°F and 95°F.

The Honeywell 2-Pipe Direct Acting Pneumatic Thermostat controls temperature in a heating and cooling system. The thermostat closes at its first set point, turning off the furnace and keeping the space at first set temperature. When the thermostat senses a drop in temperature from the first set point, it opens and allows heat to go to the 1st stage of heating or an air conditioner to turn on.
