The Honeywell 3208, 1" BSP female inlet to 1/4" NPT,3-way solenoid valve is specifically designed for use in water treated for boiler feed applications. The unique pintle suitable for contamination free addition of boiler chemicals.

The 3-way valve body is a full port design and has a threaded spud for use on most hydrants. The 3208 is used for domestic and commercial water applications that call for 1 inch threaded water connections up to 5 psi.

The V41 1/2 valve body is designed to handle high flow rates and higher differential pressures. It features three inlets and three outlets for maximum versatility. It can be configured as either a 3-way or 4-way valve, in a variety of configurations. It also features an internal filter screen that will not restrict flow.

The 3208 Series is a 3-way valve used for mixing two services in 1 outlet. Typically, this valve is installed in conjunction with plumbing fixtures such as sinks, tubs, shower/bath combinations, and floor drain inlets. The 3208 Series 3-way valve is used where two different sources of water service are required on the same outlet (single inlet). By using valving to redirect flows from these secondary sources to the incoming water source the user can create zones of hot and cold water within one main line (pipe).

The 3208 is a three-way, solenoid actuated, normally closed valve body with threaded ports. The three-way normally closed valve body isolates or supplies inlet water to outlets A or B. Actuation of the solenoid generates a 4-6 psig differential pressure across the control element, which is sufficient to overcome the spring bias and open port A, B, or C. The thermal limit protects against excessive stem extension beyond the threads when rising stem conditions result in excessive heat generation. The 3-way valves range from 6.5" - 21". They have a 1/4" BSP connection and require a 7/8" compression ring. The valve body for these goes up to 15,000 psi and the diaphragm goes up to 60,000 psi.
