Your LSR-1 Line Seizure Relay has been designed to provide clean uninterrupted AC power wherever it is needed most. Its job is to keep your electronics and entertainment systems running smoothly during an outage by repeatedly cycling the power off for a few seconds then back on again. The LSR-1 simply plugs into a standard wall outlet and is connected directly in line with your equipment. It uses a ground fault circuit interrupter (GFCI) to detect dangerous electrical leaks that occur in the event of an outage, preventing "electrocution" at the socket!

The LSR-1 Line Seizure Relay is a miniature line seizure unit designed to test & protect the load and feeder against open circuit fault conditions due to voltage unbalance, continuity and loading of parallel conductors up to 600V. Features include: voltage range 240Vac or 120 Vac, 600V primary/240V secondary, trip time 1.5 sec., AC short circuit protection (no limit), maximum opening time 0.8 sec., tripping of load relay contacts factory set at 4A@240Vac

The Viking Electronics™ LSR-1 Line Seizure Relay is a low capacitance, low inductance line current switching device.For capacitor discharge protection of transformers, motors or other loads against high fault currents where use of solid state electronic relays is not feasible. Provides a non-shorted path for the fault current to safely discharge the system capacitor bank for protection of downstream equipment and devices.
