CTL IGN W/ONE RETRY Pilot Proving Module
The CTL Pilot Proving Module includes the CTL Pilot Programmable Test Load (PPL) and the REFLEX Module. The PPL has 47 repetitive test waveforms, 16 waveform memories, one control knob, and an auto power-off function. The integrated microprocessor features a user-friendly touchscreen interface that is backlit for visibility even in low light conditions.
With the multi-functional Pilot Proving Module, you can test both pilot and main burner per point, with a single push of a button. Also when the pilot goes out, the PPM will automatically activate a series of up to 5 ignition attempts before a fault occurs. This module is rated for use with natural gas only.
The McLain 511 Pilot Proving Module (PPM) replaces the cylindrical control handle and the upper half of the control rod. It is compatible with various McLain and Watts proportional valves and transmitters.
Collecting data in high-risk areas where gas presence must be confirmed before ignition is allowed, the Pilot Proving Module meets all global safety standards. It uses portable, handheld non-dispersive infrared spectroscopy for detection of natural gas in the air, warning of leakage by emitting a horn or alarm.
As a way of ensuring the safety of the power supply, the Pilot Proving module is a safety instrument that can detect a breakdown or abnormality in a power consumer’s electrical system. The Pilot Proving Module, model U-T#1003-615, is designed by WEIL McLain for use with EH motor control panels and other energy management systems. It was engineered using advanced technology to accurately detect even the slightest consumption of electricity.
This Pilot Proving Mod. is used to simulate initiating contact of an electric contactor with an amplifier that has the same voltage as the electric contactor.
The Model U-T# 1003-615 is a pilot provable module for the W.E.I.L. SENTRY TOUCH Wireless, Digitally Controlled Thermostat, Indoor AC Controller.

The MCR (Mono Coupling Reactor) is particularly suited for applications where the flow of process fluids medium through the reactor is intermittently stopped for various reasons (fill-up, topping-off, sampling, laboratory tests, leak repairs etc.). The CTL (Conductivity Transmitter / Level controller) is designed to control (via PILOT PROVING) or measure (via MONITORING) the fill level in the tanks.
The WEIL McLain PILOT PROVING MOD.U-T#1003-615 or PILOT PROVING MOD.U-T#1003-615, located on the lower level of the calorimeter building, is an equipment used to demonstrate and verify the function and accuracy of a new pilot plant system and/or parts of a new pilot process prior to installation in the pilot plant.
