The Field Controls WMO-1 Oil Fired Secondary Safety Kit is designed to be used with the Field Controls WMO-2 Oil Fired Primary Water Tube Package. It provides added safety when using oil fired primary water tube heaters. Also known as a space heater, this accessory kit is 73 inches high x 24 inches wide x 13 inches deep and weighs only 70 pounds.
A Secondary Safety Kit is required by Underwriters Laboratories (UL) when a WMO-1 or WMO-2 Oil Fired Furnace Power Exhaust Vent has not been previously installed and is being installed for the first time. A total of six secondary safety kits are required to be installed for oil-fired furnaces; three are WMO-1 and three are WMO-2.
