The York MEGA main gas burner features a 360°- swivel pilot tube to allow precise flame control, eliminating flare-ups. Arm mounted pilot lights located behind the pilot tube provide easy lighting. A large diameter tubular steel pilot lite is easily accessible above the surface of the cooking chamber for easy lighting.  The MEGA main burner has 8-5/8" diameter by 9" long.  The overall length of the kitchen range when including an auxiliary gas regulator is only 18 1/16" - 4/5" shorter than similar competing units with standard MEGAs.
