This is a spooled push rod measuring 36" in length with a 5/16" diameter. It is designed as an accessory to the Honeywell 1906 smoke alarms and allows you to replace the factory installed alarm panel easily.

The actuator is a metal frame that contains a circular contact to which the push-rod attaches. The metal frame is attached to the electric motor. When the operator pulls the push-rod down, the contact rotates causing electricity to flow from one wire to another and ultimately causing the mechanism inside the container to move.

Designed for use with some Honeywell Viscotherm II Modules, the Push Rod is Certified to ANSI/ASHRAE 219-2005 Standard and 2016 Addenda Amendment.
