The white-Rodgers 3098-156 Plug-in Mercury Flame Sensor 48" monitors gas-fired, open-flame appliances. It features a Bimetallic type sensor that is housed in thermoplastic material for durability. It is designed with a manually adjusted red LED indicator light and three wires, making it easy to install and simple to wire. It is compatible with utility ignition systems and helps protect furnace burners, boiler burners and burner horns.

The 3098-156 from WHITE-RODGERS is a plug-in mercury flame sensor designed to fit DURACRAFT, FERROSTAT and POPTEX gas logs. This flame sensor mounts directly onto the 9" burner log burner support bars. It is designed for use with an electric ignition. The snap lock feature on this mercury flame sensor makes installation quick and easy. This flame sensor has a rugged nylon base and a thermoplastic housing that ensures it will operate reliably for years to come.

Plug-In Mercury Flame Sensor, also known as a Flame On/Off Switch, is designed to operate with infrared heaters. When the flame sensor’s target temperature increases to the same value as the set point on the primary thermostat, the heater is automatically turned on.
