The Rheem 62-24044-7 Non-Integrated Flame Sense Retrofit allows for the non -integrated installation of a Flame Sense ignition system in Rheem gas furnace systems. Flame Sense is a single point, float activated, non pilot ignition system.

RHEEM 62-24044-7 Flame Sense Retrofit Kit for Non-Integrated Gas Packages. This new Flame Sense technology turns your old non-integrated package into a state of the art, interactive flame sense gas package system. With Flame Sense technology, you have instant feedback on the flame condition and it can alert you when a burner goes out and send an alert to your smart phone.

The Retrofit Conversion Kit allows for the replacement of a standard wall thermostat in your older gas or electric heating system with a Flame Sense Controller Thermostat. This convenient retrofit kit is easy to install, and can maintain two separate heating systems within one home. It requires a non-integrated Flame Sense Programmable Control for accurate temperature adjustment at the control level.
