The Field Controls GVD-4PL is a 4 inch automatic air vent damper designed to fit into a 24 volt Gas Valve with Pneumatic Air Actuator. The GVD-4PL automatically opens when the room's fire system calls and closes when the system goes into alarm, all this with just one device.

The GVD-4PL is a 4" automatic fan & damper for use with 24V heaters or coolers (excluding the CV units). It fits on any G45 vent. The GVD-4PL has four selectable venting positions: open, extract, intake, and close. The automatic damper will facilitate proper ventilation of equipment depending on your specific needs.

The GVD-4PL 4 inch automatic vent damper reduces unwanted wind drafts, smoke, and heat loss by automatically closing when a fire is not present. The GVD-4PL Series is factory pre-set to open at 90°F air temperature and close at 165°F.
