Thermowell #6300W-101 is designed to equal approximate the approximate inside diameter of your piping. The length of this thermowell is 6" long. The thread adapter end that joins into your piping is NPT threaded 1/4"-18. This thermowell has a brass construction.

This Thermowell is designed to be buried in pipe for temperature measurements. It has a 1/2"" stainless steel section at the bottom which is intended for placement into a 3/4"" insulated section of copper or other material in order to house the thermocouple. The upper part is threaded brass and is intended to screw into a 3/4"" female pipe thread elbow. Because it has 6"" long overall length, it maximizes contact with insulation or pipe for maximum temperature accuracy.
