M490P SINGLE MAG LOCK HIGH SECURITY
The M490P is a single-mag lock that comes standard in all Edge and Schlage high security electronic lock systems. It offers the maximum holding force available to secure a door and can withstand 1,500 pounds of force at its deadbolt. The Schlage mag lock features a fully shrouded, pick-resistant cylinder to ensure your system stays reliable. This lock can be adapted to become a spring-locking mechanism for non-electronic applications.
This M490P MAG lock is designed specifically for access control applications. The Left-hand release code feature allows for independent entry by one user and a second person using the emergency key release or other exit device such as a push bar, panic bar, or hotel/motel key. The M490P will issue an alarm if the door is opened without the proper combination.
The M490P Mag lock allows a door to be opened electronically with a pin code from a hand-held proximity keypad or with a key from at least 1 inch away, by unlocking the latch bolt. The double cylinder deadbolts are fully mechanical and only engage when either the internal locking bar is retracted or the lock is locked by turning the outside knob. The lock then disengages when the knob is unlocked.
The M490P is an electromagnetic lock designed for use as master on high security master key systems. It has a holding force of 1500 lbs. and is mounted to a steel or aluminum door. It can accommodate 3/8" thick to 2" thick doors with an 8'1" height or less.
The M490P MAGLOCK is an electromagnetic lock and is the most powerful and secure lock available for the SCHLAGE iCAMERA system. It features an electric strike designed to provide instant actuation of a deadbolt during an alarm event. The lock contains a built in GSM/GPRS module which communicates with the external components of the iCAMERA system. An external access reader is used to read the lock status and initiate commands .
