The York 025-40273-005 Entering Water Temp Sensor goes with a variety of York gas furnaces. This unit is used on an airplane to determine the entering water temperature. It's part of a gas furnace that produces heat, air conditioning and hot water through a ventilation system. The sensor measures the heat output from the furnace and relays the information so that all systems run efficiently.

The Entering Water Temperature Sensor from York is made to easily install into any heat pump or air conditioner with a type-three sensor port. It acts as a pluggable transmitter, transmitting the current entering water temperature to a remote location through a standard twisted pair of wires.

The York 025-40273-005 Entering Water TEMP SENSOR measures entering water temperature from the base of the high limit. The thermistor element is 4 terminal and is a plug in replacement for a GP1000 or GE1700/WN1700 data logger. It has a length of 12.5mm and a resistance of 750 ohm at 25°C.

When used as a general purpose sensor, output signal is proportional to the filled volume. The high level contacts are normally separated by a metal sheet which becomes part of the structure forming the sensing element.
